The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct Ukraine counter offensive operation, with the following success for the past day, June 19, 2023.
During the last week, The Armed Forces of Ukrainian were both on the offensive and on the defensive.
In the east, the russian invaders made a lot of efforts to stop the advance of Ukrainian troops in the direction of Bakhmut. I transferred additional units there and increased the number of shelling.
The overall intensity of fighting in this direction decreased last week, but the fighting continued - 41 skirmishes took place and our troops advanced deep into the enemy in several areas.
Last week, the enemy continued to advance in the Lymano-Kupyansk, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions. Ukraine did not lose a single meter of ground in these directions thanks to the professionalism and courage of our fighters.
Over the past week in the east, the enemy has fired more than 5,800 rounds and used 277,022 rounds of ammunition
In the south, during the past week, there was an offensive in several directions.
Units of missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine of the Tauri direction performed 10,125 fire missions during the week.
In the course of two weeks of offensive operations in the Berdyansk and Melitopol directions, 8 settlements were liberated by units of the "Tavria" OSUV: Novodarivka, Levadne, Storozheve, Makarivka, Blagodatne, Lobkovo, Neskuchne, Pyatikhatky.
In general, the units in the Tauri direction advanced to the depth of the enemy up to 7 km.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine freed the area of 113 km2. in the south.
The active work of the Defense Forces of the Tauri region continues.
During the past week, the enemy suffered significant losses. In particular, last week the losses of the enemy in all directions amounted to more than 4,600 killed and wounded, in addition, our defenders captured more than 80 fighters of the aggressor.
Also, our defense forces destroyed more than 400 units of enemy equipment and weapons, including helicopters, tanks, howitzers, anti-tank missile systems and much more.
4 p.m. updates from the MoD deputy Head Hanna Maliar: "The situation in the east is now difficult. The enemy has raised its forces and is conducting an active offensive in the Lyman and Kupyan directions, trying to seize the initiative from us.
High activity of enemy shelling is recorded.

The enemy does not abandon his plans to reach the borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Currently, this is the enemy's main offensive line. Therefore, he concentrated a significant number of his units in the east, in particular the airborne assault units. Our troops act courageously in the face of the enemy's superiority in forces and means and do not allow the enemy to advance."
