Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of July 6, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces violated ceasefire regime in the war zone in eastern Ukraine 13 times over the last day, which is quite a little number; in particular, the enemy opened fire: 2 times on Luhansk direction, 8 times on Donetsk direction and 3 times on Mariupol direction; to this end, there were no cases reported of using hard weaponry by the enemy;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian forces violated ceasefire regime in Stanytsya Luhanska with small ars; the enemy fulfilled shelling with 82-m mortars and released up to 50 mines upon Ukrainian troops positions in Krymske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Avdiivka became a very hot spot of Russian occupiers attacks, where they fired upon Ukrainian troops positions round the clock with grenade launchers of different calibers, high-caliber machine guns, small arms and anti-aircraft machine gun;  the enemy also fulfilled shelling with the use of forbidden 120-mm mortars in Pisky;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian occupiers’s mortar attacks reported in the settlement of Shyrokino and Lebedynske;
(5) No lethal casualties among Ukrainian servicemen, but 2 servicemen were wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
