Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  September 15, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 28 attacks against Ukrainian troops in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours and fired 7 times on Luhansk direction, 8 times on Donetsk direction and 13 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian proxies launched a series of attacks with mortar launchers, grenade launchers and small arms against Ukrainian troops near Krymske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian troops used mortar launchers and APCs fire during shelling at Zaytseve; the enemy used grenade launchers while shelling at Avdiivka industrial area; Russian proxies shelled with grenade launchers and machine guns upon Ukrainian troops positions in Butivka;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian proxies fired with grenade launchers and high caliber machine guns in the area of Vodyane; the enemy released 7 mines of forbidden 82-mm caliber in Maryinka; Ukrainian positions near Pavlopil, Talakivka and Hnutove came under Russian occupiers’s fire;
(5) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and 2 servicemen were wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
