Russia - Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of July 7, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces increased in twice to 25 the number of ceasefire regime violation in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last day, which is quite a little number; in particular, the enemy opened fire: 6 times on Luhansk direction, 8 times on Donetsk direction and 11 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers fulfilled attacks against Ukrainian troops positions with the use of grenade launchers in Staruy Aidar and Zhovte; the enemy also opened fire at Stanytsya Luhanska and its suburbs as well as in Zhovte;
(3) Donetsk direction: the main warfare took place in Troyitske, Avdiivka and Donetsk airport area, in particular the settlements of Opytne and Nevelske; the hottest spot was in Troytske, where the enemy fulfilled intensive shelling with the use of mortars, grenade launchers and APCs;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian hybrid forces fulfilled 2 mortar shellings in Shyrokino and Pavlopol; the enemy's armed provocation reported in Zaytseve and Maryinka; all the rest ceasefire regime violations took place on Pavlopil - Shyrokino front direction;
(5) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and 1 servicemen was wounded in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
