Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  August 11, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 15 attacks against Ukrainian troops positions during the last 24 hours, including 7 times on Luhansk direction, 1 time on Donetsk direction and 7 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: tRussian occupiers shelling from mortars and grenade launchers reported in Novotoshkivske; another Russian mortar shelling took place in Krymske; the enemy opened fire from small arms in Stanytsya Luhanska; Russian forces also actively used grenade launchers against Ukrainian troops in Schastya and Novooleksandrivka;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian proxies violated ceasefire regime once using machine guns fire in Mayorske;
(4) Mariupol direction: Almost all shelling reported on Pavlopil – Shyrokino front line; Russian troops launched mortar shelling upon Ukrainian positions in Shyrokino; Russian sniper fire reported in Talakivka; to this end, Russian forces used grenade launchers of different system for attacks at Vodyane and Shyrokino;
(5) 1 Ukrainian serviceman hit a mine and 1 serviceman was wounded in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
