The inadequate quality of “Fenix” FPV drones, supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine under state contracts, has led to the deaths and injuries of military personnel.
This was reported by volunteer Serhiy Sternenko, according to Censor.NET.
“Attention to FPV operators! Your units may be receiving ‘Fenix’ FPV drones with a digital communication module through state contracts. Because the manufacturer aims to make quick money (with prices inflated by over 250%) while disregarding people’s safety, we have already recorded several cases of self-detonations.
Due to the malfunctioning of the initiation board, despite all the safety precautions, several soldiers were injured, including severe injuries. One serviceman has died,” Sternenko wrote on Facebook.
According to the volunteer, the manufacturer is aware of the problem, but their products continue to be supplied to the military, posing a threat to Ukrainian soldiers. He recommends not using the “Fenix” drones with the manufacturer’s boards. Instead, he suggests replacing the board or transferring the communication module to a safer drone with a reliable board.
“The state must immediately withdraw this dangerous product from the military. The manufacturer must be imprisoned,” Sternenko emphasized.
