Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of July 29, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces fulfilled 19 attacks against Ukrainian troops posirions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours, including 10 times on Luhansk direction, 5 times on Donetsk direction and 4 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian  forces attacks took place near Novozvanivka and Bahmut root; the enemy’s mortar shellings reported in Novovtoshkivske; Russian occupiers fulfilled 5 attacks with grenade launchers in Novozvanivka; to this end, 3 Russian shellings took place in Krymske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian forces intensive actions reported on Kamyanka – Avdiivka – Butovka mine front line, where the enemy mostly used mortars, machine guns and grenade launchers;
(4) Mariupol direction: the enemy shelled at Hnutove with mortar launchers; Russian occupiers used APCs fire during attacks in Talakivka; another Russian shelling took place in Maryanka; Russian armed provocation (mortars and grenade launchers) reported near Pavlopol;
(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian troops as well as no wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
