Ukraine war updates on May 7, 2016 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) The situation in the war zone in eastern Ukraine remains tense: Russian forces opened fire in total 7  times over the last day;
(2) Luhansk direction: no ceasefire violation reported on this direction over the last day;
(3) Donetsk direction: combats of low intensity continue on this direction all day long; Russian forces fulfilled a series of armed provocations with grenade launchers and small arms near Avdiivka; the enemy also used grenades of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms during firing at Ukrainain positions near Pisky and Luhanske;
(4) Mariupol direction: number of Russian attacks decreased on this direction; the enemy didn’t use heavy weaponry against Ukrainian troops; nevertheless, Russian forces fulfilled armed provocations in Granitne, Hnutove and Shyrokino;
(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian servicemen, but 3 servicemen were wounded in the war zone in eastern Ukraine.
