The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct Ukraine counter offensive operation, with the following success for the past day, June 24, 2023.
Ukrainian defenders launched an offensive in several eastern directions at the same time, – the MoD deputy head Hanna Maliar said.
In the direction of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Yagidne, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka – there is progress in all directions.
The enemy tried to advance in the Kupyansk, Lymansk, and Marinsk directions, but he failed to advance.
On the Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy carried out airstrikes and artillery shelling.
In addition, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine reported that heavy fighting continues in the south on all directions of the offensive.
“The enemy is on the defensive, making a lot of efforts to stop our offensive actions. At the same time, the enemy is suffering significant losses in personnel, weapons and equipment,” she said.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine started offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
The MoD deputy head also commented that wide offensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has started in the Kherson direction.
