Russian occupiers have advanced on the Kramatorsk and Pokrovske directions in Donetsk region.
This was reported by the analytical project DeepState.
According to their information, Russian forces made gains near the villages of Nova Poltavka and Novooleksandrivka in Donetsk Oblast.
They also noted that the Russians continue to actively attack Ukrainian positions along the Novopillia-Zelene Pole-Novosilka front line in the Novopavlivka direction. The Russian army is deploying large numbers of infantry groups in assaults.

Analysts note that Russian forces are actively advancing and capturing wooded areas, where they are consolidating their troops and trying to push further. The occupiers have identified a weak point in the defense near the village of Zelene Pole and are attempting to build up forces in its southern part, as well as advance toward it from Novosilka.
On May 20, DeepState reported that following recent gains south of Novopillia and Novosilky in Donetsk Oblast, Russian troops continue to increase pressure on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions by exploiting vulnerabilities along the front line.
