Russian troops disguised in Ukrainian Armed Forces uniform attempted to break through frontline in Donetsk region.
Occupying forces attempted to breach Ukraine’s defense lines in the Kupiansk direction, according to the General Staff.
Enemy assault groups attacked Ukrainian defenders’ positions in four waves, deploying approximately 15 units of equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, and a UR-77 demining vehicle.
The General Staff reported that some Russian soldiers were disguised in Ukrainian Armed Forces uniforms, violating laws and rules of war and constituting a war crime.
Ukrainian defenders halted the enemy, destroyed their armored vehicles, and eliminated a significant number of enemy personnel.
