Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  October 5, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 19 attacks against Ukrainian forces in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours; Ukrainian troops returned fire in 12 cases;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian troops fired two times with mortars of forbidden 82-mm caliber, grenade launchers and high caliber machine guns at Ukrainian positions in Krymske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian occupiers launched 2 attacks with the use of grenade launchers and small arms against Ukrainian troops positions near Avdiivka; the same set of weaponry have been used by the Russian enemy during shelling at Nevelske; to this end, Russian proxies fired with grenade launchers Ukrainian positions near Novoselivka Druha;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian proxies armed avctivities reported near Krasnogorivka; the enemy fired with high caliber machine guns and small arms upon Ukrainian positions near Vodyane;
(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian troops, but 2 servicemen were wounded in action  in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
