Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of March 4, 2018

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  March 4, 2018 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 8 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day.

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers fired with 82-mm mortar launchers, grenade launchers and small arms upon Ukrainian troops positions around Krymske. The enemy’s shelling with grenade launchers of different systems reported in Stanytsya Luhanska, Luhanske, Novgorodske and Schastya. To this end, Russian forces used small arms during shelling in Malynove.

(3) Donetsk direction: Russian proxies fired with 120-mm mortar launchers upon Ukrainian positions in Vodyane and with 82-mm mortars in Pisky.

(4) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in action reported among Ukrainian servicemen for the past day.
