Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of December 25, 2017

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  December 25, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.

(1) In accordance with the new Minsl aggrements starting from December 23,2017 regime of the Christmass/New Year ceasefire has been established all across the front line in the war zone in eastern Ukraine; meantimes, Russian hybrid forces violated fired 6 times for the past 24 hours; Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to return fire in 2 cases;

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers fired upon Ukrainian positions in Krymke and released about 23 mortar mines during 1 hour there;

(3) Donetsk and Mariupol directions: Russian proxies armed provocations reported all across the front line over the day; the enemy fired with grenade launchers and small arms in Avdiivka; Russian occupiers  attacks with the use of small arms and sniper fire reported in Verkhnyotoretske, Krasnogorivka and Kamyanka;

(4)  No lethal casualties reporte asmong Ukrainian troops, but 1 Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in action (in the area of Avdiivka) over the past day in the war zone in eastern Ukraine.
