Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of December 13, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.
(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 24 attacks against Ukrainian troops in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours; Ukrainian forces returned fire in 19 cases;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian proxies fired with forbidden heavy 152-mm artillery in Vrubyvka; Russian forces sheeling with 82-mm mortar launchers, high caliber machine guns and small arms reported in Novooleksandrivka, Zolote and Krymske; to this end, the enemy launched 6 attacks on this direction over the past day; Ukrainian troops returned fire in 3 cases;
(3) Donetsk and Mariupol directions: Russian occupiers launched 2-hours-long shelling with 122-mm artillery, grenade launchers and APCs of Ukrainian positions in Talakivka and Vodyane and released 15 artillery rounds there; the enemy fired with grenade launchers, small arms, APCs, 82-mm mortars and tanks at Butovka mine; occupiers used forbidden weaponry, in particular 82-mm and 120-mm mortars durinbg attacks in Vodyane, Opytne and Pavlopil; the enemy’s shelling with 82-mm mortars reported in Shyrokino; Russian forces violated ceasefire regime 18 times on these directions over the last 24 hours;
(4) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in action reported among Ukrainian servicemen in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
