Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of October 18, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights. 

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 29 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the past day. The enemy aslo actively used hard forbidden weaponry against Ukrainian troops positions.

(2) Russian proxies launched 16 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 122-mm artillery – near Vodyane (3 times),

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Vodyane (3 times),

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Avdyivka (2 times),

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Talakivka (2 times) and Berezove,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Pishchevyk and Lebedynske,

grenade launchers of different systems – near Vodyane, Pavlopil (5 times), Avdyivka,

high caliber machine guns – near Pavlopil, Avdyivka,

small arms – near Vodyane, Pavlopil, Talakivka, Avdyivka, Pishchevyk, Shyrokyne and Lebedynske,

(3) Russian occupiers launched 13 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 122-mm artillery – near Novoluhanske,

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske, Zolote and Luhanske,

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Zolote, Gladosove and Novozvanivka (3 times),

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Zolote,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Krymske,

APC fire – near Krymske (2 times),

automatic grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,

grenade launchers – near Luhanske, Popasna and Hutir Vilnuy,

high caliber machine guns – near Luhanske and Popasna,

small arms – near Novoluhanske, Luhanske, Krymske and Hutyr Vilnuy,

(4) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in actions among Ukrainian serviceman reported for the last 24 hours.
