Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of November 8, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces increased to 20 the number of attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours including the use of forbidden 120-mm and 82-mm mortar launchers against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian proxies launched 10 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launcher – near Vodyane (3 times),

APC fire – near Vodyane (3 times),

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Avdyivka (3 times), Pisky, Hnutove and Vodyane (3 times), 

anti-tank rocket systems – near Avdyivka (3 times),

automatic grenade launchers – near Avdyivka (3 times), Krasnogoryvka and Opytne,

high caliber machine guns – near Avdyivka (3 times),

small arms – near Pisky and Vodyane (3 times),

(3) Russian occupiers launched 10 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske (2 times),

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Luhanske (2 times) and Novoluhanske (2 times),

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Luhanske (2 times) and Mayorsk,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Mayorsk, Pivdenne (2 times) and Hutyr Vilnuy,

automatic grenade launchers – near Luhanske (2 times) and Novoluhanske (2 times),

grenade launchers – near Krymske (2 times) and Hutyr Vilnuy,

high caliber machine guns – near Krymske (2 times), Pivdenne (2 times) and Novoluhanske (2 times),

small arms – near Pivdenne (2 times), Mayorsk and Hutyr Vilnuy,

(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in actions and 4 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
