Russia – Ukraine war operational update of the General Staff of Ukraine for the last 24 hours of Russia – Ukraine war as of 6:00 a.m., March 25, 2023.

395 day of the russian large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past 24 hours, the russian Federation has carried out 50 air and 11 missile strikes, fired 75 rocket salvo missiles at the positions of our troops and the civilian infrastructure of populated areas, killing civilians.


The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high, because the Russian occupiers will continue to use terror tactics.


The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdyivka, Maryinka, and Shakhtarsk directions. Our defenders repelled 59 enemy attacks against them.


On the Volyn, Polissya, Siversk, and Slobozhanks directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected. During the past day, the enemy carried out shelling in the areas of settlements of Horodyshche, Chernihiv Oblast; Kharkivka, Studenok, Iskryskivshchyna, Vorozhba, Bilopillya, Richki, and Myropillya of the Sumy Oblast, as well as Basove, Veterinarne, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Krasne, Ogirtseve, Vovchansk, Budarky, Ambarne, and Topoli in the Kharkiv Oblast.


On the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Serebryansk forestry area and near the settlements of Hryanikyvka, Synkivka, Dibrova, Bilogorivka and Spirne. He carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Kamianka, Dvorichna, Hryanikyvka, Zapadne, Kupyansk, Pishchane and Tabaivka settlements of the Kharkiv Oblast; Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Dibrova and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region, as well as Terny and Spirne in the Donetsk region.


In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy continues its assault on the city of Bakhmut, as well as in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanovsky, and Stupochky of the Donetsk oblast. Shelled the settlements of Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Stupochki, Predtechyne, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Zalizne, Severny and Toretsk.


On the Avdiyivka, Maryinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, and Vugledar settlements. Avdiivka, Tonenka, Netaylove, Lastochkina, Georgiivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Prechistivka and Zolota Niva of the Donetsk oblast were subjected to numerous enemy attacks.


The enemy is defending in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. At the same time, it shelled the settlements of Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Gulyaipilske, Charivne, Biloghirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Orihiv, Novoandriivka and Stepove in Zaporizhzhia and Berislav, Tyaginka, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Shiroka Balka and Kherson.


The russian occupiers continue to put pressure on the local population in the temporarily occupied territories. Recently, on March 22, servicemen of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the russian Federation conducted a raid in Chaplinka settlement of the Kherson Oblast. During the inspection, special attention was paid to citizens’ personal documents, vehicles and mobile phones.
In Energodar, Zaporizhzhia region, the russian occupiers organize “excursions” for high school children to Volgodonsk and the Rostov NPP.


Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation has carried out 17 strikes on areas where the occupiers are concentrated.


At the same time, our defenders shot down an enemy Mi-24 helicopter and 6 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.


Units of missile troops and artillery, in turn, hit 2 control points, 4 enemy concentration areas, two anti-aircraft missile systems, an ammunition depot, an artillery unit in a firing position and 2 electronic warfare stations.
