The russian Federation continues to wage a war of aggression, regardless of losses. To achieve his goals, he continues the tactics of terror.
Over the past 24 hours, the russian occupiers launched another air and missile attack on Ukraine, using 8 missiles, in particular, 4 Iskander land-based cruise missiles, and 35 Iranian shahed drones against military facilities and critical infrastructure facilities. Ukraine air defense forces destroyed 2 cruise missiles and 20 iranian shahed drones.
In addition, the enemy carried out 92 airstrikes and fired 45 rocket salvo fire systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded civilians, destroyed and damaged private houses.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, heavy fighting continues. During the past 24 hours, 35 combat clashes took place on the indicated section of the front.
In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Senkivka, Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Seredyna-Buda, Chuykivka, Kharkivka, Sosnivka, Vovkivka, Stepok, Velyka Pisarivka, Popivka, Dmytrivka in the Sumy region, as well as Udy, Staritsa, Vovchansk, Budarky, Nesterne and Mala Vovcha in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Kislivka and Kotlyarivka districts of the Kharkiv region. The settlements of Petro-Ivanivka, Novomlynsk, Zapadne, Masyutivka, Kislivka, Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
In the Lyman direction, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bilogorivka. The russian forces carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Nevske, Yampolivka, Zarichne, Lyman, Spirne, Vesele, Rozdolivka and Rai-Olexandrivka of the Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Torske, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were also hit by artillery fire.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out offensive actions in the direction of White Mountain, without success. The russian occupiers carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Bila Gora, Dilyivka, Toretsk and New York of the Donetsk region. Areas of the settlements of Vasyukivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Ivanovske, Bila Gora, Druzhba, Toretsk, Zalizne and Severnye were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Avdiivka direction. He carried out airstrikes in the Avdiivka and Nevelsky areas. The russian troops carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Mariinka. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka. At the same time, the enemy carried out artillery shelling in the Gostroy, Maksimilianivka, Maryinka, Pobyeda and Novomykhailivka districts of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Shakhtarsk, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, and Velyka Novosilka and shelled from the Vugledar artillery of the Donetsk region.
The enemy conduct defending operations in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. The russian occupiers carried out airstrikes in the Novopavlivka, Gulyaipol and Orikhov districts of the Zaporizhzhia region. They carried out artillery fire on more than 20 settlements. Among them are Vremivka, Novosilka and Novopil of the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Malynivka, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya, Stepove and Kamianske of the Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Sadovye and the city of Kherson.
Due to the lack of a legal norm regarding the deadlines for completing military service after mobilization in the russian army, the lack of significant achievements on the battlefield, and the spread of panicked attitudes about future prospects, cases of non-compliance with orders, sabotage, illegal relationships, and desertion have become more frequent among russian mobilized people.
To solve these problems, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the russian Federation made a decision according to which the commanders of formations and military units are ordered to identify and second such persons to assault companies for their further use in so-called “meat assaults”.
Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces has struck 16 strikes on areas where personnel are concentrated and 2 strikes on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.
Also, our defenders destroyed 4 enemy reconnaissance UAVs of various types.
During the day, units of missile troops and artillery struck 2 control points, 5 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 1 artillery unit in a firing position and 4 more important enemy objects.
