There are more than 600 russian mobilized soldiers and cadets in the bomb shelter of Zaporizhzhia NPP.
The occupiers, together with Rosatom, continue to turn the ZNPP into a military base. They set up a machine-gun position on the roof of the fifth power unit, and checkpoints at all entrances to the clean overpasses, through which personnel get directly to the power units.
Besides, another batch of russian troops – more than 600 mobilized soldiers and cadets – arrived at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. They were placed in the bomb shelter of the factory of non-standard equipment, where they are waiting to be transferred to the Donetsk sector.
In addition, the ruscists continue to build fortifications and military structures around the plant’s power units and its dry spent fuel storage facility. Such actions of the russians are categorically unacceptable and violate all existing norms of nuclear and radiation safety.
Energoatom noted that the occupiers had denied access to the storage facility both to the Ukrainian personnel and the IAEA representatives at the ZNPP site.
