He was unarmed, and his hands were bound with tape, writes the Ukrainian Ombudsman: “The level of barbarism and bloodthirstiness is impossible to comprehend. The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into a criminal case concerning the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder.
It is likely that Russians killed the unarmed Ukrainian defender in the town of Novohrodivka, adds the Office of the Prosecutor General: “In the released photos, the occupiers are seen plunging a sword into the body of a serviceman from the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The image shows that the killed serviceman had no equipment, and there was adhesive tape on one of his hands.”
