Consequences of the night Russian attack on Ukraine as of morning June 6, 2025.
Kyiv
4 killed, 20 injured. Hits and falling debris recorded; metro tracks damaged.
Lutsk
5 injured as a result of hitting a residential building.
Ternopil
5 injured. Industrial and infrastructure facilities damaged.
Lviv region
An industrial facility and power lines damaged. No injuries.
Poltava region
In the Kremenchuk district, administrative buildings, warehouses of several enterprises and a coffee shop were damaged. 3 people were injured.
Chernihiv region
The city was attacked by ballistics and “Shakheds”, there are injuries and damage to residential buildings, critical and social infrastructure.
It is known that in total 406 russian air attack missiles and drones have been intercepted over Ukraine overnight.
On the night of June 6 (from 20:00 on June 5), the enemy attacked with 452 air attack vehicles:
- 407 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Gvardiyskoe – TOT of Crimea;
- 6 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Kursk and Voronezh regions – RF;
- 36 Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS/Tu-160MS strategic aviation aircraft from the airspace of the Saratov region, over the Caspian Sea;
- 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Dzhankoy district of the TOT of Crimea;
- 1 Kh-31P anti-radar missile from a tactical aircraft over the Black Sea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 10:00 a.m., Ukraine air defense neutralized 406 enemy air attack vehicles throughout the country:
- 199 enemy Shahed UAVs (other types of UAVs) were shot down by fire, 169 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare;
- 4 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, two more did not reach their targets (lost in location);
- 30 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
- 2 Iskander-K cruise missiles.
Russian enemy airstrikes were recorded in 13 locations, and downed aircraft (fragments) fell in 19 locations.
