Friends, the situation near Pokrovsk is critical due to the almost complete lack of drones for our infantry. Units of the 32nd Mechanized Brigade, the 59th Motorized Infantry Brigade, and the 155th Mechanized Brigade urgently need drones – primarily thermal imaging drones like the Mavic 3T and Autel 4T. These brigades have received significant reinforcements in personnel but have received no drones at all for reconnaissance and drops from the Ministry of Defense. Not a single drone.
It turns out that for our Ministry of Defense, it’s easier to draft people into the army – whose lives are both priceless and cost tens of millions for the budget – than to provide them with drones costing around 150,000 UAH.
All drone supplies come from volunteers, but even among volunteers, support for the 32nd and 155th Brigades is scarce, and the 59th is not receiving the same level of support as a year ago. I personally provided 10 drones from my fund to the 32nd and 155th Brigades, which helped neutralize about 20 occupiers, but this is just a drop in the ocean of the reconnaissance and drop needs. There are many targets here, and Russian assault groups advance daily on multiple fronts.
On this front, the Russians have a significant advantage in the number of drones. Meanwhile, Ukrainian leadership pays no attention to equipping the units defending Pokrovsk with drones.
This allows the enemy to advance and capture our positions. Currently, there is a real threat of losing Pokrovsk rapidly due to the complete lack of drone support for our infantry.
I appeal to everyone who can help to step in and draw attention to this critical situation. I also urge the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to address this failure in drone supply, which is leading to significant losses and the enemy capturing our positions.
