Russian massive attack on the Kyiv region: deaths and destruction

The Russian occupiers carried out another massive night attack on the Kyiv region, resulting in the deaths and injuries of civilians. The shelling caused significant destruction and large-scale fires in several areas.

Rescuers of the State Emergency Service worked all night and continue to eliminate the consequences of enemy terror.

A woman was killed and three more people, including a child, were injured in a massive nighttime attack on the Kyiv region, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.

“Rescuers of the Kyiv region are eliminating the consequences of fires caused by a massive enemy attack; unfortunately, there are victims of enemy aggression,” the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in a Facebook post on Sunday morning.

As a result of the strike on the Obukhiv district, a residential building was partially destroyed: a woman born in 1997 died, three people were injured – born in 1966, 1964, and a child born in 2019.

The glazing in one of the high-rise buildings was also damaged, and a fire broke out in a garage cooperative.

In the Fastiv region, a warehouse and utility building were destroyed, and a fire broke out on the territory of a medical center with an area of ​​​​5 thousand sq. m.

55 rescuers and 17 pieces of equipment were involved in the liquidation of the consequences. The work is ongoing, information about the victims is being clarified.

The air alert in Kyiv lasted from 23:59 to 08:54 — almost 9 hours of continuous danger, reports Kyiv military administration.

In Solomyanskyi district, the blast wave damaged the windows in one of the apartments of a residential building.

In Holosiivskyi, the roof of a non-residential building was damaged.


Fortunately, there were no casualties in the capital.
