Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of July 10, 2017

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of July 10, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces increased number of attacks upon Ukrainian troops positions to 38 over the last 24 hours, including 10 on Luhansk direction, 8 on Donetsk direction and 20 on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: the most active warfare between Russian occupiers and Ukrainian troops reported on Bahmut root , where the enemy violated ceasefire 5 times; in particular, Russian mortar shelling took place in Krymske and Novozvanivka; another Russian armed provocations against Ukrainian troops took place in Shchastya and Stanytsya Luhanska;
(3) Donetsk direction: Avdyivka remains the hottest spot on this front direction as the enemy’s shellings with grenade launchers of different system and small arms 1-2-hours durations each reported there round the clock; became an epicenter of Russian hybrid forces attacks on this directions, where they fired mostly round the clock, another Russian proxies shelling took place in Verkhnyotoretsk;
(4) Mariupol direction:  Russian forces fired with mortars and armoured vehicles two times upon Ukrainian troops positions in Krasnogorivka; also the enemy fulfilled an attack in Maryinka; Russian shellings, including mortar ones, reported in Novomykhaylivka; Russian forces continue shelling with mortars as well as small arms upon Novotroyitske and Berezove; to this end, the enemy fired on Pavlopil – Shyrokino front line round the clock;
(5) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in action reported among Ukrainian servicemen in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours.
