Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of October 23, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 24 attacks attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy used forbidden hard weaponry against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian occupiers launched 10 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Vodyane (2 times),

anti-tank guided missiles – near Pavlopil (3 times),

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Novotroytske and Vodyane,

automatic grenade launchers – near Vodyane and Pishchevyk, 

grenade launchers of different systems – near Pavlopil (3 times),

high caliber machine guns – near Pavlopil, Krasnogorivka and Novoselivka Druha,

hand grenade launchers – near Novoselivka Druha,

small arms – near Vodyane, Maryinka and Krasnogorivka,

(3) Russian occupiers launched 14 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 82-mm moratra launcers – near Zaytseve (3 times) and Novoluhanske (2 times),

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Zaytseve (3 times),

automatic grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske (2 times) and Hutyr Vilnuy (2 times),

grenade launchers of different systems – near Zolote (4 times) and Novotoshkyvske,

high caliber machine guns – near Zaytseve (3 times), Luhanske and Pivdenne,

small arms – near Zolote (4 times), Novotoshkyvkse and Pivdenne,

(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in actions and 3 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in actions for the last 24 hours.
