Russia - Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  August 29, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces violated ceasefire regime 19 times in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian troops used high caliber machine guns and small arms against Ukrainian positions near Stanytsya Luhanska;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian occupiers continue attacks with grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms as well as released 4 mines of forbidden 82-mm caliber upon Ukrainian troops positions in Avdiivka industrial area; to this end, the enemy violated ceasefire regime in Butovka mine, Mayorske and Zaytseve;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian forces used high caliber machine guns during shelling in Vodyane and Shyrokino;
(5) No lethal casualties reported among Ukrainian servicemen in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
