Roman Pohorilyi: “The command responsible for this area lacks situational awareness and control. In conversations with the military, brigades, and soldiers on the ground, it’s clear that the situation is in complete chaos. This needs to be stabilized very quickly because the enemy is making significant advances. Almost every day, we are marking the loss of settlements on the map. The enemy has already taken the last key height in that area before Pokrovsk. In just three to four days, the enemy captured Novohrodivka, a settlement where they could have been held off for a long time. The enemy is now attempting to enter Selydove, another substantial and fairly strong settlement where the enemy could have been stopped, especially given the presence of a slag heap, mines, and overall industrial infrastructure. However, we see that holding back the enemy is very difficult. The soldiers are putting in maximum effort and doing everything they can to destroy the enemy. Unfortunately, there are a lot of them, especially infantry, which the enemy has concentrated in large numbers.”
