The Defense Forces have refuted enemy claims about reaching the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

According to Flot2017, Russian occupying forces have failed to reach the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region despite all their claims, said Major Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the “Khortytsia” Operational and Strategic Group of Troops.

“They are not present there. Moreover, they are not even present at the administrative border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, despite all their claims and the provocative video released last week, which was actually filmed in Donetsk region and quite far from the border,” Trehubov said during a national telethon broadcast.

According to the spokesperson, Russian forces are attempting to reach the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region from two directions — the Novopavlivka and Pokrovsk. These areas saw the highest number of combat clashes in the past day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Trehubov emphasized that all statements by the occupiers regarding reaching the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk region are false. Ukrainian defenders continue to successfully hold back enemy advances in these directions.

For reference, Russian invaders suffered 1,120 personnel losses over the past day. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 8 tanks, 15 armored combat vehicles, 34 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 240 operational-tactical UAVs, seven missiles, 124 vehicles, and two pieces of specialized equipment.

Earlier, Flot 2017 reported that during  the night of June 11, drones attacked the Tambov Gunpowder Plant in Kotovsk, causing a large fire.
