Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  September 10, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 25 attacks against Ukrainian troops in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours, including 1 time on Luhansk direction, 10 times on Donetsk direction and 14 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian forces fulfilled mortar attack with the use of forbidden 120-mm caliber and released 1 mine upon Ukrainian troops near Lobacheve;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian troops concentrated activities on Horlivka and Avdiivka directions; the enemy fired with the use of grenade launchers fire and small arms upon Ukrainian troops positions in Zaytseve; Russian forces also used small arms against Ukrainian troops in Novgorodske, Avdiivka and Butovka mine;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian troops launched 2-hours-long attack with the use of grenade launchers and mortars in Maryinka; the enemy also used APCs fire in Starognativka; to this end, Russian proxies small arms on Pavlopil – Shyrokino front line;
(5) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action, but no wounded in action reported among Ukrainian servicemen in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the past day.
