Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of March 24, 2018

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  March 24, 2018 by ATO HQ operational data and Ministry of Defence spokesman on ATO issues: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 3 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.

(2) Luhansk direction: the situation was calm on this direction.

(3) Donetsk direction: Russian forces fired with forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers at the residential areas of Avdiivka and released 6 mines. No casualties reported among civilians.  The enemy also launched attack with the use of grenade launchers, high caliber machine guns and small arms upon Ukrainian troops positions near Mryanka. To this end, Russian occupierd fired with 82-mm mortars upon Ukrainian positions near Kamyanka.

(4) No lethal casualties as well as no wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian troops for the past day.
