Russia – Ukraine war updates: daily briefings as of July 22, 2017

Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of July 22, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces iviolated ceasefire regime 11 times in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours, including 2 times on Luhansk direction, 2 times on Donetsk direction and 7 times on Mariupol direction;

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian forces violated ceasefire in Stanytsya-Luhanska district and in Krymske with the use of mortar fire;

(3) Donetsk direction: Russian occupiers’s attacks with the use of small arms reported near Horlivka and Butovka mine;

(4) Mariupol direction: Russian forces shelled residential area in Maryinka from small arms, which resulted injurung of 4 civilians, including 2 children; the enemy shelled Ukrainian troops posititions in Vodyane with the use of mortar launchers; Russian occupiers also violated ceasefire regime in Hnutove and Shyrokino;

(5) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and 5 servicemen were wounded in action by Russian proxies in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
