Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  September 28, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces violated ceasefire regime 15 times in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, including 3 times on Luhansk direction, 7 times on Donetsk direction and 5 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: no Russian proxies opened fire from grenade launchers and small arms upon Ukrainian positions in Krymske, Lobacheve and Stanytsya Luhanska;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian forces activities concentrated around Avdiivka; the enemy fired upon Ukrainian positions in Yasynuvata and Spartak; Russian armed provocations took place in Kamyanka; Russian forces shelling reported in Donetsk airport, Pisky and Nevelske;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian occupiers launched armed provocation with the use of small arms in Maryinka; Hnutove, Talakivka and Shyrokino came unde Russian fire on the south direction; in particular, the enemy used forbidden mortar launchers against Ukrainian troops in Talakivka;
(5) No lethal casualties and no wounded in action reported among Ukrainian troops in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
