Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  August 19, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces fired 30 times upon Ukrainian troops positions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the past day;

(2) Luhansk direction: Russian forces attacks with grenade launchers took place Troiytske and Malynovske; the enemy fired with forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers in Novotoshkivske;

(3) Donetsk direction: Russian troops shelling with high caliber machine guns and grenade launchers reported in Avdiivka industrial area; Russian attacks also reported in Kamyanka, Pisky and Verkhnyotoretske;

(4) Mariupol direction: tense situation reported near Starognativka, where Russian occupiers used forbidden 152-mm artillery; the enemy also violated ceasefire regimy by shelling with high caliber machine guns at the residential areas in Zaytseve; to this end, Russian forces fired with grenade launchers at Maryinka;

(5) No lethal causalties reported among Ukrainian troops, but 1 serviceman were wounded in actions in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
