The Russian Federation continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, carries out strikes and shelling both military and civilian targets.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has launched 9 missile and 57 air strikes, fired 61 salvo rockets at the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded civilians, among whom there are children. Residential buildings were destroyed.
The probability of further missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.
More than 40 combat clashes took place during the past day.
In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the areas of Stepnoy, Sumy region, and Udyv, Kharkiv region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 30 settlements, in particular, Senkivka, Turya, Bleshnya, Buchka of Chernihiv region were affected; Methodiivka, Sytne, Starykove, Mogrytsia, Stepok and Ryasne in Sumy Oblast and Udy, Veterinarne, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Nesterne and Budarky in Kharkiv Oblast. Within the limits of the Chernihiv region, an attempt to cross the state border of Ukraine by a subversive intelligence group of the enemy was stopped. The enemy suffered losses and retreated.
In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense, successfully repulsed enemy attacks east of Berestovo in Kharkiv Oblast and near Novoselivskoye in Luhansk Oblast. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the Druzhelyubivka area. He carried out artillery and mortar attacks on more than 10 settlements, including Odradne, Kolodyazne, Kamianka, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, and Zapadne of the Kharkiv region.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched airstrikes north of Serebryanka and near Spirnyi, Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske, Bilogorivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnokamianske and Spirne in Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, our troops continue to conduct offensive actions south of the city of Bakhmut. More than 10 settlements were affected by enemy artillery shelling, including Rozdolivka,
Orichovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Predtechine and Bila Gora of the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Avdiyivka, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of New York and Avdiivka. Shelling of populated areas continues, including Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinsky direction, the enemy launched an air strike in the Krasnohorivka area. Defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the areas of Maryinka and Pobyeda. The enemy carried out artillery shelling of populated areas, including Maryinka, Pobyeda, Georgiivka and Gostre of the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, the enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Vugledar, Blagodatny and Staromayorsky. In the area of the latter, unsuccessful attempts were made to restore the lost position. Shelling of Vodyane, Vugledar and Blagodatne settlements of Donetsk region continues.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. The occupiers carried out airstrikes in the Malynyvka and Malaya Tokmachka districts of the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 settlements, including Levadne, Gulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Orihiv, Stepove and Kamianske of the Zaporizhia region, were hit by artillery fire.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Kherson direction. More than 25 settlements, including Dmytrivka and Ochakiv of the Mykolaiv region, were hit by artillery fire; Mykhailivka, Dudchany, Beryslav, Lviv, Kherson and Dniprovske of the Kherson region.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the achieved boundaries, and continue to fire at the enemy.
Russian occupiers continue to use civilian infrastructure on the territory of temporarily occupied settlements. Thus, the enemy placed about 100 Russian servicemen in the premises of the miners’ prevention center in Nizhnyi Nagolchyk, Luhansk region, and more than 100 occupiers were placed in the buildings of an educational institution in the village of Semikozivka, Luhansk region.
Over the past day, the air force of the Defense Forces has struck 7 strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile complexes.
During the day, units of missile forces and artillery struck 5 enemy anti-aircraft missile complexes, a heavy flamethrower system of volley fire TOS-1A “Solntsepok”, 5 artillery pieces in firing positions, 2 electronic warfare stations, an ammunition warehouse and 5 areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
In general, last day, our soldiers eliminated 500 Russian invaders. The enemy lost 5 tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems, 2 anti-aircraft vehicles, 10 operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles, 32 vehicles and 3 units of special equipment.
