Tonight, the Russian Federation carried out another airstrike by Iranian attack UAV “Shahed” on Ukraine. Information regarding the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.
During the past day, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones. A total of 28 kamikaze drones were involved. As a result of successful combat operations, our air defense destroyed 26 attack UAVs. Our defenders also destroyed 5 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has carried out 65 airstrikes and fired 71 salvo rockets at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, in addition to destroyed infrastructure, civilians suffered.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions, heavy battles continue. During the day, 29 combat clashes took place.
In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus perform tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. During the past day, airstrikes were carried out in the areas of Volfyny, Sumy Oblast, and Veterinarny, Kharkiv Oblast. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements. In particular, these are Karpovychi, Mykolaivka, Chernihiv region; Sopych, Romashkove in the Sumy region and Strelecha, Veterinarne, Stroivka and Sotnytskyi Kozachok in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyan direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense. The enemy carried out an airstrike in the areas of Podyla, Kucherivka and Kislivka settlements of the Kharkiv region. Krasne Pershe, Kamianka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masyutivka, Kislivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lymanskyi direction, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Vesely area of the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka and Nevske settlements of the Luhansk region. Nevske, Bilogorivka of the Luhansk region and Rozdolivka, Torske, Verkhnokamianske and Vesele of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy fire from aviation and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the area of Hryhorivka and east of Orihovo-Vasylivka. More than 15 settlements, including Oleksandro-Shultine, Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Khromov, Chasiv Yar, Pivdenne and Ivanivske of the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the Avdiivka, Pervomaisky, and Nevelsky districts. The enemy carried out airstrikes near New York and the city of Avdiyivka. At the same time, the occupiers fired artillery at more than 10 settlements, including Avdiyivka, Berdychi, Severny and Nevelske of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, under enemy artillery fire, our defenders repelled all attacks in the areas of Pobeda, Novomykhailivka and Marinka settlements. The enemy shelled more than 15 settlements, including Kostyantynivka, Maryinka, Pobyeda and Elizavetivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Blagodatny area. Carried out airstrikes near Odradny, Storozhevo, Rivnopol, and Makarivka. The enemy shelled more than 15 settlements, including Vugledar, Blagodatne, Makarivka, and Prechistivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Orihiv of the Zaporizhia region and Zolota Balka, Molodizhne of the Kherson region. Conducted artillery shelling of more than 30 settlements, including Gulyaipole, Gulyaipilske, Zaliznychne, Poltavka, Olhivske of the Zaporizhzhia region; Kozatske, Lviv, Inzhenerne, Tokarivka of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson, as well as Dniprovske, Dmytrivka and Ivanivka in the Mykolaiv region. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.
During the day, the aviation of the defense forces made 15 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 4 – on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.
During the day, units of missile forces and artillery hit 3 control points, 10 artillery pieces in firing positions, 1 anti-aircraft defense tool and 1 enemy EW station.
