Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of March 22, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.




(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 7 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy used weaponry forbidden by the Minsk aggreements 4 times and released 40 mines of 120-mm and 82-mm calibers.

(2) Russian proxies launched attacks with the following types of weaponry in the East area:

high caliber machine guns – in the area of Shyrokino and near the settlement of Avdyivka,

small arms – in the area of Shyrokino, near the settlement of Avdyivka,

sniper fire – in the area of Shyrokino.

(2) Russian forces launched attacks with the following types of weaponry in the North area:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near the settlement of Krymske,

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – in the area of Hutir Vilnuy, Zolote-4, and the settlement of Krymske,

weapons infantry fighting vehicle BMP-1 – in the area of Hutir Vilnuy,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – in the area of Hutir Vilnuy, Zolote-4,

automatic easel grenade launchers – near the settlement of Pivdenne,

small arms – in the area of Hutir Vilnuy, Zolote-4 and Stanytsya Luhanska.

(3) Russian forces losses over the last 24 hours are as follows: 3 killed in action and 6 wounded in action.

(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and 2 servicemen were wounded in action over the past day.
