Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  September 29, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 16 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours, in particular 2 attacks on Luhansk direction, 5 attacks on Donetsk direction and 9 attacks on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian occupiers fired with small arms upon Ukrainian troops positions in Krymske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Russian forces violated ceasefire regime on Avdiivka – Pisky front line only; the enemy actively shelled with grenade launchers, high caliber machine guns and small arms upon Ukrainian positions in Avdiivka;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian troops launched powerfull attacks with the use of forbidden 82-mm mortars in Maryinka and released over 30 mines upon Ukrainian troops as well as residential areas; Berezove and Pavlopil reported as hot spots; the enemy’s shelling also took plave in Vodyane and Pavlopil;
(5) 2 Ukrainian servicemen were killed in action and 2 servicemen were wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
