Do you remember that the economy is the foundation of our defense capability?
Well, soon there will be nothing left of the Ukrainian economy.
It’s no secret that developed and successful countries, when making decisions, study various scenarios of their implementation and their consequences.
But here, something is first announced, then done, then there are gasps and sighs. But it’s too late.
So, if we kill the economy, there will be no one left to gasp and sigh.
Because the army and the defense-industrial complex will lose their resource base.
(Maybe this is the secret plan??)
What happened?
The Cabinet of Ministers proposes to increase taxes, excise duties, and fees.
http://surl.li/qwiipd
No, it does not propose:
- to reduce inefficient expenses,
- to cut down on officials and unnecessary state functions,
- to eliminate empty, functionally useless state institutions,
- to borrow money (from the National Bank, as the U.S. Treasury did from the Federal Reserve during World War II),
- to privatize remaining state property, including tens of thousands of real estate objects,
- to stimulate the economy to expand the tax base,
- to stop creating schemes with fictitious VAT,
- to stop embezzling the budget, finally,
- to stimulate businesses to come out of the shadows (by improving tax policy).
They propose:
- to raise labor taxes to 23% from 19.5% (excluding the unified social tax),
- to increase taxes on private entrepreneurs,
- to tax those using generators to ensure their electricity supply (since the state could not protect energy facilities despite spending hundreds of billions of dollars),
- to raise taxes on parcels received by Ukrainians from abroad,
- and more.
Apparently, they haven’t heard of the Laffer Curve.
http://surl.li/mexxkc
Because increasing taxes usually leads to a short-term increase in tax revenues and then their subsequent decrease due to reduced economic activity and its shift to the shadow economy.
Overall, they plan to raise 140 billion UAH for the state budget…
By the way, 60 billion UAH of taxpayers’ money has already been spent on the unsuccessful protection of energy facilities.
http://surl.li/lzfbkn
– There is no protection,
– No energy generation,
– No one held accountable.
But more money is needed, so they decided to tax businesses even more.
Let me remind you that before the large-scale invasion, small and medium businesses formed up to 50% of GDP.
http://surl.li/othfeh
Today, the main contributor to GDP creation is the state, and it is the main capitalist and monopolist, as well as the resource center:
- monopoly in energy generation,
- monopoly in gas extraction and transportation,
- monopoly in transport infrastructure,
- monopoly in the banking sector.
But officials are not interested in increasing the efficiency of the state sector; it’s long and difficult.
It’s easier to impose new taxes on Ukrainian businesses.
As for the consequences, they are obvious (soon there will be sociological results):
- The business climate in the country will deteriorate (investors do not go to a country where the tax legislation has changed 200 times in 10 years, each time for the worse),
- Business activity in the country will decline,
- Unemployment will rise and job vacancies will shrink,
- Migration of businesses and people from Ukraine will increase,
- The shadow economy will grow,
- Corrupt income for law enforcement, fiscal officials, and some deputies will increase.
As a result, the army will not receive the necessary resources for our defense.
The Cabinet has already submitted the bill to the Parliament.
I now want to see the deputies who will vote for it.
Each of them will be, by default, an enemy of their country.
No, this is not hate speech.
As mentioned above, before raising taxes, work on reducing expenses.
But if this does not happen, what is happening is sabotage against Ukraine.
Read, draw conclusions, share!
P.S. I forgot to mention. At the same time, the salaries of tax officials were doubled (!!!)

Now you live with this too!
