President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a press conference at the forum “Ukraine 2024. Independence”. Main points:

▪️ Ukraine will not extend the agreement on the transit of Russian gas beyond 2024. This decision is final.

▪️ Poland is hesitant to shoot down missiles over Western Ukraine. They are waiting for support from several NATO countries.

▪️ Ukraine has successfully tested its first domestically produced ballistic missile.

▪️ We need to bring our population back to Ukraine. It is crucial to return our children, students, and others. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs alone will not be able to “retain” 7.5 million Ukrainians abroad. Therefore, there is a discussion about creating a “Ministry of Unity” to handle the return of Ukrainians and ensure they find employment.

▪️ We have the capacity to produce 1.5 to 2 million drones. We are capable, but funds are limited.

▪️ For the first time, rotations have begun on the front lines. The number of people preparing has increased. While I wouldn’t call these fundamental rotations just yet, I must be honest: it’s a start, and that’s very important.

▪️ We are not prepared to trade our territories as part of any negotiations.

▪️ During a large-scale attack, we managed to shoot down some missiles using F-16s.

▪️ There are agreements with Poland that if someone illegally crosses the border, Poland will return them to us. We don’t have similar agreements with Moldova, Romania, or Hungary.
