Minsk Meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group was planned for today. In the afternoon Ukrainian current President’s Channel reported that meeting has started. Later on, former president Leonid Kuchma said that consultations on Minsk protocol implementation derailed due to no-show of signatories-militants, ultimatum-style statements by their representatives. Diplomats and officials believed in this meeting as a chance to solve Ukraine-Russia issue. EMPR is deeply concerned…

Russian figure skater Dmitri Aliev skipped the awards ceremony at the XII European Olympic Youth Festival being held in Lichtenstein and Austria…

Morning updates from the conflict zone by ATO press center, Lugansk Governor G. Moskal and military expert D.Tymchuk: in Vuhlehirsk the situation remains tense, combat is ongoing; enemy keeps deploying reinforcement for its tact group fighting in Vuhlehirsk: 8 tanks, 14 BMPs & APCs, supplies; militants of so-called ‘Cossack’ units have suffered big losses at Debaltseve area; positions of Ukrainian forces near Pavlopil were fired upon with mortars; militants shelled Svitlychne and hit a water pump station; all occupied terrorists of Lugansk oblast got no central water supply…

Now official! Russia has been recognized as Aggressor and ‘DPR’ & ‘LPR’ as terrorist organizations by Mariupol City Council. Due to the latest report Mariupol Massacre (Jan 24,2015) list of victims is as follows: 31 civilians got killed, 117 were injured…

Heartbreaking video shows how Russian militants kill Ukrainian POWs. Among 12 Ukrainian soldiers 3 already dead, 2 wounded. Names of the four soldiers who were murdered while filming this footage are: Albert Sarukhonyan Georgiyevich, Kryvyi Rih; Sergey Slesarenko Stanislavovich, Dneprodzerzhinsk; Roman Svekh Nikolayevich, s.Pokrovka, Krivorozhskiy rayon; Andrey Kolesnik Vladimirovich, s.Chumaki, Krivorozhskiy rayon. 12 civilians were killed in Debaltseve today. Volunteers and police supported locals over evacuation under the fire. In the meantime, militants suffered heavy losses in the battle for the city. Despite of the fact that several Ukrainian media quoted top official from the Defense Ministry, who said the city is partly seized by the enemy, well-known volunteer Alex Mochanov reported Debaltseve is under Ukrainian forces control, but there are many enemy’s subversive groups operating in the area… 

Ukrainian forces de-blocked over 70 servicemen in Vuhlehirsk…
