At the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, emergency responders from the State Emergency Service are continuing to extinguish a fire on the outer cladding of the Arch of the new safe confinement

No deterioration in the radiation situation at the site of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant has been recorded, and there has been no release of radioactive materials beyond the established limits, according to the State Agency of Ukraine for Management of the Exclusion Zone.

It is noted that from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 5 SES workers and 2 units of equipment were involved. As of the morning, 40 SES workers and 8 units of equipment are actively working.
