Ammunition left by the russian invaders began to explode in Kyiv region

Forest in Kyiv region caught fire and ammunition left by the Russian occupiers began to explode due to Russian missile attack.

As a result of a Russian missile attack, ammunition left by the Russian occupiers began to explode, which caused a forest fire near Zdvyzhivka in the Bucha district. The detonation takes place at the former positions of the Russian army. The police of the Kyiv region have blocked entrances to the forest and put up patrols to protect the local population while the State Emergency Service has been eliminating the consequences of the explosions, – the head of the Main Department of the National Police in Kyiv region, Andrii Niebytov informed.

It is known, that on June 16, 2023 russian forces attack Ukraine by launched Caliber missiles from the Black Sea area from the south direction as well as ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region, russia from the north direction. 

According to official data, the following russian missiles were destroyed over Ukraine this time: 

– 6 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles; 

– 6 Kalibr cruise missiles; 

– 2 reconnaissance UAVs.

Targets were destroyed over the Kyiv Oblast. All missiles intercepted, but debris injured 3 (2 kids and elderly woman) & damages 30 private houses. They also caught fire in the nearest forest and ammunition left by the Russian occupiers began to explode.
