3D printer house was built for the first time in Ukraine

A house was built using a 3D printer for the first time in Ukraine, near Kyiv.

In Irpin, a house was built using a 3D printer for the first time in Ukraine. The house will be home to the family of Yaroslav Berezov, a hero who died in the war.

The family’s home was destroyed by the Russians during the city’s occupation in 2022. Yaroslav himself died in the battles for Bakhmut that same year.

Their previous home was unfinished, so legislation did not allow for its reconstruction with state funds or for obtaining a certificate to purchase a new one.

The owner of the startup 3D UTU, Inna Furman, offered to print a new home for the family.

The 130m² house was built in two days of printer work.

The project used a 3D printer from a Ukrainian company.

Programmers, designers, architects, constructors, manufacturers of building materials, furniture, decor, household appliances, and others also joined the project.
