105 Anniversary of the raising of Ukrainian flag in Sevastopol

In recent days it was the 105th anniversary of the raising of Ukrainian flag, a flag of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and the Sevastopol fortress.

Back in 1918, on April 29, Rear Admiral Mykhailo Sablin, who had recently taken over as Commander, under the patriotic pressure of the Ukrainian majority of the Black Sea Fleet's crews and the Ukrainian community of Sevastopol, officially declared the entire Black Sea Fleet the fleet of the Ukrainian People's Republic and ordered the solemn raising of Ukrainian flags on ships and the Sevastopol fortress.

To remind, on April 29, 2023 a large-scale fire in Sevastopol broke out at an oil depot near Kozacha Bay and fire destroyed 10 tanks with oil products with a total capacity of about 40 thousand tons.
