Ukraine under attack: the situation in the regions

Ukraine under attack – the situation in the regions during the day of August 15, 2024.

Kharkiv region


In Kupyansk, a 64-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone hitting a car. In the town of Bely Kolodyaz, two people were killed as a result of an FPV drone firing at a vehicle. Three civilians who were traveling in another car were also injured.

Dnipropetrovsk region


The Nikopol district survived several enemy attacks by artillery and drones. The aggressor attacked Nikopol and the Marganets community. No dead or injured.

Donetsk region


During the day, the Russians shelled populated areas of the region 10 times. 2,417 people were evacuated from the front line, including 217 children. A person died in Maksimilyanivka, Marinsk community. In Zorya Illinivska hromada, 1 person died, 3 objects were damaged.

Sumy region


At night, 4 enemy UAVs were destroyed over the region. During the day, the Russians carried out 14 shelling of the border. 40 explosions were recorded. Khotinsk, Yunakivsk, Krasnopilsk, Novoslobidsk, Esmansk communities came under fire.

Zaporizhia region

During the day, the occupiers hit 14 settlements in the region 397 times. Four people were injured as a result of shelling in the Vasyliv district. 10 damage reports have been received.

Kherson region

During the night attack over the region, 8 Shaheds were destroyed. During the day, the Russian military targeted critical infrastructure facilities and 16 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, private cars, a rescue vehicle and agricultural machinery. 1 person died, another 13 were injured, including 1 child.

Mykolaiv region

At night, five Shahed attack drones were destroyed in the region. The enemy also carried out artillery fire on the Kutsurub community. There are no casualties.
