Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  October 8, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on ATO issues briefing: EMPR highlights.



(1) Russian hybrid forces violated ceasefire regime 19 times in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours, including 6 times on Luhansk direction, 7 times on Donetsk direction and 6 times on Mariupol direction;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian troops fired from mortar launchers and machine guns upon Ukrainian forces in Tryokhizbenka and Krymske; another Russian shelling reported in Stanytsya Luhanska district;
(3) Donetsk direction: Avdiivka remain the hottest spot on this direction as Russian proxies fulfilled a series of powerfull attacks; Russian forces fired also in Zaytseve, Mayorske and Pisky;
(4) Mariupol direction: Russian occupeirs armed activities reported in Pavlopil and Shyrokino; Russian proxies also used mortar launchers in Talakivka; Vodyane was the hottest spot, where the enemy fulfilled a numerous attacks; Russian firing took place in Hnutove and Starohnativka;
(5) No lethal casualties reported, but 1 Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in action in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours.
