Russia - Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of  November 18, 2017 by ATO HQ operational data and Presidential Administration spokesman on war issues: EMPR highlights.



(1) Situation remains tense in the war zone in eastern Ukraine as Russian hybrid forces launched 14 mortar shellings and released 100 mines upon Ukrainian troops positions for the last 24 hours; the enemy launched 25 attacks in total and  in particular, Russian occupeirs violated ceasefire 18 times on Luhansk directions and 7 times on Donetsk direction; Ukraine forces returned fire in 15cases;
(2) Luhansk direction: Russian  proxies fire reported in Krymske, Zalizne, Tryokhizbenka, Luhanske, Troyitske and Novozvanivka and the enemy released 84 mines of 120-mm caliber and 17 mines of 82-mm caliber upon Ukrainian troops positions there; to this end, Russian occupiers launched attacks with grenade launchers and small arms in Svitlodarsk, Zolote, Novoluhanske and Troyitske;
(3) Donetsk direction: Pavlopil reported as the hottest spot on this direction as Russian forces launched 4 attacks there with the use of forbidden 120-mm and 82-mm mortars; the enemy fired with grenade launchers and small arms in Maryinka and Avdiivka;
(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action and 2 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in actions over the past day.
