Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of October 13, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.  

(1) Russian hybrid forces extremely increased to 23 the number of attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. They continue to use forbidden weaponry against Ukrainian troops positions.

(2) Russian occupiers launched 17 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Vodyane (6 times),

anti-tank missile complex – near Novognativka,

APC fire – near Vodyane,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Novognativka (2 times), Pishchevyk, Shyrokino and Taramchuk,

grenade launchers of different systems – near Vodyane and Verkhnyotoretske,

high caliber machine guns – near Taramchuk, Maryinka, Bogdanivka and Slavne,

small arms – near Vodyane, Pishchevyk, Verkhnyotoretske, Maryinka, Bogdanivka, Slavne and Shyrokino,

(3) Russian proxies launched 6 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske,

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske (2 times),

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Novoluhanske,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Mayorsk and Luhanske,

automatic grenade launchers – near Zolote (2 times),

high caliber machine guns – near Novoluhanske and Zolote,

small arms – near Zolote, Mayorsk and Luhanske.

(4) 2 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in actions reported among Ukrainian servicemen for the last 24 hours.
