During the past day, the enemy launched 5 missile strikes from the S-300 air defense system, more than 40 air strikes and carried out about 60 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, children and civilians have been killed and injured, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinka directions – 36 combat clashes took place during the past day.
In the Volyn and Poliske directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions. He carried out an airstrike in the Bilopyl district of the Sumy region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 30 settlements, in particular, Chuykivka, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Iskryskivshchyna, Pavlivka of the Sumy region and Vovchansk, Karaichne and Budarky of the Kharkiv region were affected.
In the Kupyan direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense.
During the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions west of the First Lyman in the Kharkiv region. He carried out airstrikes in the districts of Kislivka and Kotlyarivka. Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk and Kislivka of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area west of Dibrova and east of Vesely, Luhansk region. He carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bilogorivka, Luhansk region, and Terni and Spirnyi, Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske and Bilogorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Berestov and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy enemy aircraft and artillery fire, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Minkivka, southeast of Orihovo-Vasylivka, southeast of Bohdanivka and near Ivanovsky, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Bohdanivka and Oleksandro-Shultyny. More than 15 settlements, including Kramatorsk, Kostyantynivka, Chasiv Yar, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultine, Severny and Katerynivka of the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, under enemy aircraft fire, our defenders repelled all attacks in the area of the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery at more than 15 settlements, including Novoandriivka, Novobakhmutivka, Keramik, Avdiivka, Nevelske and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, the Defense Forces successfully continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the districts of the city of Marinka and near Krasnohorivka. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Gostre, Vesely Gai, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Shakhtarsk, the enemy carried out airstrikes in Makarivka, Blagodatny, Novodarivka and Komar districts of Donetsk region. He shelled the settlements of Blagodatne, Vugledar, Prechistivka, Neskuchne, Novodarivka, and Rivnopil in Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. He carried out an airstrike in the area of Orikhov, Zaporizhzhia region. Conducted artillery shelling of more than 30 settlements, including Vilne Pole, Vremivka of the Donetsk region; Zaliznychne, Verkhnya Tersa, Gulyaipilske, Preobrazhenka and Biloghirya of the Zaporizhzhia region; Mykhailivka, Novoberislav, Mykilske, Inzhenerne, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson. Postrvzhdav and Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, and conduct counter-battery countermeasures.
Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces has carried out 11 strikes on areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated. Also, our defenders destroyed 3 enemy attack UAVs of the Shahed-136 type and 6 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs.
